Feasibility Study of Biomass Waste Utilization

In 2024 we partnered with a major coal company to survey biomass potential across 13 regencies, map resources, and design a sustainable biomass-processing business model.

Feasibility Study of 5 MW Biomass Power Plant

In 2022 we completed a feasibility study for a 5 MW biomass power plant in Ponu, covering technical, schedule, cost, and environmental assessments.

Boiler Retrofitting of Coal Conversion to Biomass

In 2023-2024 we supported two clients in converting coal boilers to biomass through on-site surveys, feasibility studies, and SOP optimizations to enable efficient decarbonization.

Technical Feasibility Study of Mobile Biomass Gasifier in Indonesia

In 2018, Hafif (Geni) led a Ristekdikti feasibility study showing mobile biomass gasifiers viable, scalable, and feedstock-sustainable for rural Indonesia.

Wood Pellet

In 2015 and 2023 we conducted feasibility studies and process optimizations for wood-pellet production, improving feedstock pre-treatment, pelletization, and pellet quality to support scalable, sustainable manufacturing.

A PT Geni Buana Nusantara engineer performed a technical study and one-week training for PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali on biomass gasifier design, selection, and implementation.

In 2019 a member of our company assessed tsunami damage at PLTU Palu, documenting turbine, structural, and support-system losses for insurance and rehabilitation.

Basic Engineering Design for Freight Rail Facilities

In collaboration with POLAR, a member of our team prepared the complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design for a new freight rail depot.

Investigation of The Refractory Dry Out (RDO) In Furnace Boiler CFPP

In 2021 we investigated refractory dry-out (RDO) at PLTU Tarahan; a key member used LES-CFD to analyze explosion risks and recommend safety measures.

Mobile Power Plant Implementation Analysis

In 2017, Geni experts analyzed PLTMG and gas turbine mobile power plants for PT PLN, assessing feasibility, efficiency, scalability, and environmental impact for remote deployment.

Development of National Standard Design for Waste Processing Facilities (IPS)

In collaboration with Arkonin, a member of our team developed the national mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) standards for Indonesia’s waste processing facilities.

We investigated the RDO explosion at CFPP Tarahan using RANS-CFD; a key member analyzed causes and recommended design and operational safety improvements.
